Welcome to Fundamentals of DBT Theory and Practice! This self-paced course is the first of two parts, which when taken together will provide you with a solid base to begin to use DBT in your own life and with your clients. The second course, DBT Skills and How to Teach Them, is a 10 week course that teaches you the details of the DBT Skills we teach in our clinic, along with homework exercises and teaching tips. This course includes a series of video recording and the full slide deck for reference, along with relevant and recent research articles on DBT that are meant to supplement the video training elements. As part of the course we include access to our online DBT Learning Community, where we can all learn together. We encourage you to participate in the community actively to receive the greatest benefit from the course.
