Daniel is passionate about providing collaborative psychiatric care that centers your story and strengths. He was a high school english teacher in New Jersey where he grew up. He started medical school later in life at the UC Berkeley-UCSF Joint Medical Program and completed psychiatry residency at San Mateo County BHRS. He has worked in various psychiatric settings, most recently as an outpatient psychiatrist focused on interventional treatments such as TMS and ketamine. He has participated in many seminars at the San Francisco Center for Psychoanalysis, where he is a community member. He completed the CIIS Certificate in Psychedelic Therapy and Research in 2022, and MAPS training as part of that program.
