I realize that you have many options in considering beginning with a new therapist. I will meet you where you are and attempt to listen with not only my ears, but my heart as well. Therapeutic presence has the ability to be deeply healing, and I am committed to bringing my fully present self to our sessions. I will apply all of my knowledge to respectfully understand your perspective and will ask for your input and feedback often to guide my treatment.

I am a big believer in meeting you wherever you are. A good, strong therapeutic alliance is one of the most important tools in a therapist’s toolbox. My life experience and ability to relate to a wide range of people is one of my strongest assets as a therapist. My experiences help me to relate to you and empathize deeply. Therapists are human first after all!

I utilize evidence based modalities and techniques such as CBT, DBT and EMDR to treat individuals, children, and adolescents. who might be victims of domestic violence, other trauma survivors, PTSD and complex PTSD, depression, anxiety, religious trauma, and the queer community. However, my biggest concern for my clients is that you feel comfortable and connected so that you are willing to do your therapeutic work. When you have trust in your therapist and feel comfortable in session the therapeutic work can be powerful and healing.
